Malibu Road
Join a hip, walkable beachfront community
Welcome to Malibu Road
The Malibu Road community is a haven that comprises two-and-a-half miles of exquisite
oceanside luxury properties. The land plots on Malibu Road include particularly lavish properties
that rest between the limitless oceanfront and the main thoroughfare. Malibu Road used to be
part of the Old Road, which refers to the Pacific Coast Highway. Over the years, the main
highway moved further inland, but its original path beside the coast to the original old
Hollywood-type mansions remains.
Malibu Road properties on this thin parcel of land may include direct ocean lots or parcels
staggered along the hills that overlook the Pacific. The Malibu Road estates have coveted views
of the Queen's Necklace. It is named the Queen's Necklace because it is an area of coastline
that lights up at night in a threaded, starry pattern like a glittering diamond necklace. Homes
with a view of this sight are considered some of the most desirable in California.
