Kristin Bindley’s positive attitude, nurturing spirit, competitive drive, and love for others shine through in her work every day. Clients quickly call her a friend, not just an agent, when working with her outgoing and welcoming nature. She made the move to Southern California from her Midwest roots in Indiana several years ago. Kristin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood development and exceptional needs from Purdue University. After attending Purdue and completing her first teaching position, she worked in corporate sales and customer experience for several years. Her love for people has been her compass to finding a career in real estate.
While at Purdue, Kristin belonged to several organizations on campus and was extremely involved in campus life. She was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority where she served as the president, house manager, standards chair, and several other officer positions. Her experience serving as sorority president and managing a home of 158 women has given her the skills of exceptional organization, commitment, and an extreme sense of empathy; all of which she will carry into her career working with her clients. Kristin was also named “most outstanding president of the year” for Purdue University Sorority Life and “miss congeniality” in the Miss Purdue Scholarship Pageant. Kristin continued her service to the organization after graduation where she served as the Indianapolis Alumni Association co-president and social event chairman.
Kristin has always had a passion for being involved in community enrichment activities and finding ways to share this joy with others. She has a fire for uplifting others, serving with compassion and conviction, advocating for communities in need, and being a champion for change. Her fondest memories are from her time spent in Haiti, serving alongside the Haitian community, learning from each other, and making a difference in their homes and villages. She did this through healthcare initiatives, rebuilding infrastructure, providing support through education, and serving others with empathy and an open heart. Kristin spent several weeks a year volunteering in Haiti and then spent four months living there and working for Mission of Hope during a summer in college.
Outside of work, she can be found enjoying long runs, cooking with her husband, watching football on Sundays, attending sporting events, and spending quality time with her friends who are very dear to her. A common quote attributed to Kristin is that she has “never met a stranger” and it quickly becomes apparent to every new person she meets. At the heart of everything she does are love and her friendships.
She believes the work she participated in abroad paved the way for her philosophy on life; we all have a social responsibility within our community and abroad to serve, for the greater good of humanity. She will carry this philosophy into her career as an agent. Kristin finds passion and fulfillment in working with families to find their homes while building a foundation of trust, mutual respect, and empathy.
